Manning and the Giants Take on the Pats at MetLife

With a big game against the New England Patriots this weekend, the New York Giants are looking for another win to hold onto the top spot in the NFC East with 6 weeks left in the regular season.

At 5-4, the Giants are just ahead of the 4-4 Philadelphia Eagles and 3-5 Washington Redskins, both of which are too close for comfort. The Patriots are still undefeated this season and have seemingly run away with the AFC East again. One of only 4 undefeated teams left in the NFL, they won’t go down this weekend without a fight. However, the Giants seem to be one of the only teams that have continuously proven themselves against the Patriots in big games. In four games against each other, Eli Manning has edged out Tom Brady three times, two of which were Super Bowls.

The Giants will be playing at home this weekend and arguably with more motivation as their division lead is minuscule and with the Eagles playing the 3-5 Miami Dolphins on Sunday, a win is the only surefire way for them to stay atop the East. The return of Jason Pierre-Paul should prove a turning point for the defense, which currently ranks last in sacks. In his first game back last weekend, we saw flashes of old JPP and while he likely won’t be that same player ever again, he can still be a game-changer for the Giants. Both the Giants and Pats can score, albeit the Giants offense ranks as the league’s 5th best, whereas the Pats are the top-ranked, it should be an interesting game at MetLife Stadium this weekend.

The 25-room estate is set far back on the cliff, at the end of a long, gated driveway and amidst park-like landscaping.
